Peach Scones


Right now I should be getting things ready for a wedding shower I am helping with tomorrow.  Things like making dip, and making decorations.  But instead, I sit here procrastinating, something which I will definitely regret tomorrow when I don’t have the time for anything.  I made these peach scones last week, because it is almost the end of summer fruit season, and I have a list of things I still wanted to make with summer fruit before it disappears for another year.  I used a pretty basic cream scone recipe, roasted some peaches in the oven, mixed them into the batter and voila!  A summer breakfast.  (Ok, so now that it is morning, the procrastination part up there doesn’t make sense.   For some reason the photo wouldn’t upload last night.  And I was right, I shouldn’t have spent time trying to make it work.  Because now I feel behind again.)Fall 2013 134
