Clearing Snow

The calves wanted to go outside of their barn, in the hopes that winter will soon leave us.  Which would be fine except that half their fence is buried under large drifts that they can easily cross, and then they can just roam wherever they please.  So we had to move the drifts and we spent all afternoon yesterday doing so.  All afternoon, and we still didn’t finish.  It takes a really long time when you can only take a few feet at a time out of a twelve foot high drift that is 30ish feet long.  I imagine that by August it will have melted.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
