On Sunday when it was not raining and was sunny for a little while in the late afternoon, I went for a squishy walk through my garden to see how my plants are faring.  Turns out they are doing quite well.  My new strawberries had one berry on them, which I ate, and the peonies are about ready to start blooming.  The lilacs seem to be close to the end of their season, though.  So it’ll only smell like lilacs for a little while longer, and then it can smell like peonies.  Most of my garden is up now too, which is mildly surprising considering how wet it has been.

And of course, since it keeps raining, we have these lovely critters popping up all over the lawn.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
