So on our first full day in the Yukon, we went to visit a wildlife preserve.  It has animals that are all native to the area, and only two types of predators.  It’s kind of like a zoo, I guess.  It’s all outside, since these animals are used to living in outdoor conditions in their natural habitat.  It was fun, except for the patches of mud we sometimes had to walk through.

And, I am not too sure what these moose antlers were doing here, but they looked kind of cool.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
