Oscar came to me housetrained.  That is one of the reasons I think he was a housecat before he found himself in the middle of nowhere.  But that is another story for another time.  No sense getting myself all irritated right before bed.  Anyway, even though Oscar is housetrained, he prefers to go outdoors, when the weather is agreeable, to… use the outdoor facilities.  Just a little idiosyncrasy he has.

It was windy out this morning, but not too bad on the deck where he was sitting on the barbeque meowing, a little while after I let him out.  So I went and opened the inside deck door to inform him that it was nice out and he could stay out longer.  The outside door was still closed and it has a screen.  It’s just low enough for him to be able to stand up against the door and peek in the window.  I kind of like to tease him, and talk to him through the window just to see him stand up against the screen and peek in.  Silly cat.  (PS, this is the first post that I am making with my new computer.  Hopefully it works properly)

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.

He does not look entirely happy to be out there! …but I do love the frost pattern on the screen!

Haha, that’s no frost pattern, those are scratch rips. From the time he tried to climb the door and failed. He hasn’t tried that again for a couple of years.
