Leftover fog

When we got home last night, I could tell it had been foggy here too.  It’s probably the same fog that we drove through on Monday.  There was a really thick layer of frost on everything that you could see even in the dark.  It was pretty, even at night.  But, alas, it was also windy which means that by the time I had time to take pictures today, it had mostly blown off everything.

Some of the little fog clouds were still hanging around, even though they were just scooting across the sky instead of descending to the ground.  I did find a place late in the afternoon, where the wind had not blown the frost off the south side of the trees, when the sun was still shining, instead of being obscured by those foggish clouds.  A little bit more snow and we’ll have a completely white Christmas.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
