Scattered showers

Scattered snow showers are so strange.  We had them today.  You can be driving along in perfect afternoon sunlight, you come over a hill and it’s like you drove into a fog, it is snowing so hard.  This happened to me on the way home from town today.  I was zooming along, enjoying the nice sunshine since it had been cloudy today, and drove over a hill into a snow shower that I thought for sure was farther away than it actually was.

I drove out of it relatively quickly once I turned the corner onto a different road though.  So it must not move nearly as fast as those scattered showers in summertime.  Off in the distance though, there was another, though smaller one.  The late afternoon sun was turning it pinkish and it looked quite pretty hovering over the hills.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
