Tins

Tuesday is our secret prayer sister gift exchange, so today I had to think of, find and purchase a gift.  I did have some vague ideas when I went to town this morning, but nothing solid was formed in my head.  That is, until just after lunch when I was about half done my list.  I decided I wanted to find nesting tins, or whatever they are called, and fill them with stuff.  The ones that, when they are empty, fit inside each other like those nesting dolls.  In previous years, I had seen tin pails like that, so that was my first choice, but any tins with lids would suit me.

So I spent an hour and a half driving all over town to the assorted gift shops/knick-knacy/kitchen-y type stores looking for them.  Everywhere that I thought they might exist, did not have them.  Some places had one or two tins, but not that were the same pattern or shape.  Finally I circled my way back to Walmart, the second last place I was about to look before giving up.  I had actually already been there earlier in the day, so of course it makes sense that that is exactly where I would find what I was looking for.  If only my brain had thought of this in the morning, I could have avoided the wild goose chase that followed.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
