Parks

Our town has quite a few parks.  Probably more parks per capita than anywhere else.  At least it seems that way, judging by how many times you have to zigzag around them to get where you are going.  It is nice, though, in summer to have all those parks where you can go for picnics (although we haven’t done that in a while), or to walk along the creek, or to have various weddings.  There is at least one wedding per weekend in the summer in one park.

Probably because that park is the prettiest.  It’s all trees, and it has lilacs planted strategically to make little alcove/sanctuaries for those weddings.  Right now, all those trees are various shades of green and yellow, since town trees seem to keep their leaves a bit longer.  Plus, since I am currently obsessed with fall themed foliage pictures, it satisfies that desire quite nicely.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
