Windmills

I am pretty sure that back when people used windmills to run things and to get water to their farms, they did not have problems around here.  At least that is the way it seemed this week.  It was plenty windy around here most days.  The good thing about that is that it provided an air conditioning system for sitting in the truck, because it was also quite warm.

I went with a friend to a craft show in town today.  It was pretty fun, we taste tested every food booth, looked at some pretty jewellery, bought some fudge, and tried to avoid the slow walkers.  Then, we went to the little ‘village’ of various old building set up to represent an old frontier town and took some pictures of the buildings.   I really liked the old windmill, but it is obviously not in good working order, because it was windy again, but it wasn’t spinning.  Maybe that’s why it got moved into town.

And the old church.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
