While we wait for the lentils to be dry enough to combine, I get to complete some odd jobs that seem to have fallen by the wayside while we made hay, then silage and now combining. They are those types of things that you always say you are going to get around too the next time there is some spare time, but it seems that spare time gets filled up pretty quick with more important things. And then it is winter and the cycle starts all over again.
So today I started repainting my garage doors. They have needed it for long time. Probably years, even. Now that Dad is swathing, I get to paint. Somehow I always seem to end up with just as much on me as on the door, no matter how much I try to stay clean. I can’t even keep the paint can clean. There are always drips running down the side, and then I hit those drips when I am moving the paint can around. It’s a vicious cycle.
