Well, combining has started, here, finally, so be prepared for plenty of harvest related photos from now until whenever we are done. Most of my daylight hours will be spent either in the combine or the truck, so that is where I will do my picture taking. So far it is going quite well except for a little hiccup with fanbelts yesterday. That story is a little too long for here, but I believe the moral of the story is that parts people should actually stock important parts like fanbelts.

Today, as we were combining the canola, it looked like it might start raining on us. There was a little cloud moving up from the south, and although it didn’t look too serious, you just never know what those clouds are going to do, especially in August. Happily it only rained about fourteen drops and then it was done.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
