I dislike coffee. The people I used to work with tried for three and a half years to try and get me to drink coffee at coffee breaks, but it didn’t work. Strangely, I really enjoy iced caps, if they are made with chocolate milk, and coffee flavoured things, but not actual coffee. It’s too bitter or something.
Cupcakes, however, are the perfect thing to be made with coffee. I made such cupcakes for Bible study tonight. Specifically, this cupcake and this frosting, since the frosting recipe with the cupcake called for two pounds (!) of icing sugar. (I’d have way too much frosting with that amount.) Actually, I think it is the same cupcake, but the one with the frosting was halved, and I didn’t want to double it in my head, so I went with the full recipe. The frosting recipe says it makes enough for twelve, so that person must literally drown their cupcakes in frosting, because I frosted 24 with that amount. Of course, you could really eat that stuff with a spoon. So good.
