Chili

We are under a rainfall warning.  Actually, most of the province is.  Except, of course, where it is dry up north.  They don’t get any rain.  Down here where everything is mud, though, is where we get the rain.  Good thing we were done seeding yesterday.  If we weren’t, the weather would have decided we were done anyway.

Along with being rainy, it is also cool out.  It seemed like the perfect day to make chili in my slow cooker.  Ah, slow cooker, how I love thee.  Now I will have tasty chili forever, since this recipe made a lot.  It is really good thought, and after it has sat in the fridge overnight, it will go in the freezer.  It is always better the second day.
