Sea World

Tuesday morning was the last general session of the conference.  In the afternoon we went to Sea World, and it was pretty awesome.  It wasn’t as hot or as crowded as Universal had been, plus it was full of dolphins and whales and scene stealing storks.  How could you not like it.  About the storks.  There was a stork at the dolphin show that was wandering around the pool deck before the show.  He was eating the fish that the trainers give the dolphins for doing tricks.  Then he wandered around for a little wheel, peeking behind wall at the dolphins.  Later he (or his friend, or whatever), was at the whale show fluttering around looking for more fish, then some water jets came on and he got sprayed and flew away.  It was pretty funny.  As was the sign advising us that the birds may eat us.  And I had birthday cake.  It was chosen purely for its interesting design and for being photogenic.  Luckily it tasted pretty good too.  The beautiful fountain at night ended a most excellent day.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
