Wednesday morning one of the four of us headed home. The other three of us had tickets to Epcot at Disney World, but it was somewhat cheaper to get ones that only admitted you after 2pm. Since the park closes at 9pm, we thought that was likely long enough to walk around. The park has two different themes to it, The Future, which is kind of a kids place with fun things to do and such, and then there is The World section, which has a whole bunch of different countries. Each country has its own little section, complete with traditional buildings, and people in costume and food vendors that serve whatever type of food that country has. Some of them had fun things, like little rides, or movies about the place. It was very nice to travel the world in an afternoon. Then in the evening they had fireworks over the lake in the middle of the park. Fireworks are my favourite. Oh, and it rained that morning, but when we left it wasn’t too bad, so I left my umbrella in my suitcase. When it rains there, it pretty much stops right away. This time it didn’t; it rained harder and harder the closer we got to the park, so when we arrived, our nice driver lent us his umbrella. This proved very useful for about 10 minutes. Then it stopped raining and we carried an umbrella around all day. And we rode the monorail.
And, clearly, we saved the best country for last.
