Remember those kitten pictures from a couple of weeks ago? They were so little then, and could fit in the palm of my hand. Now they are getting big and their eyes are open and they are roaming. We had to move the box that houses the one set to an empty calf pen and put up some kitten barriers, so that they can leave their box, but not fall into the gutter, or meet a cow’s foot up close and personal. They quite enjoy waddling about their calf pen. The other litter is blocked into their corner by a bale that they should be able to climb any day now.
They are most funny when they sleep. There is one in particular who really enjoys lolling about on his back. He is always sleeping that way, and even when he is awake, he lies there and watches the world go by. He was also the first one to try and climb out of the box, so maybe while he was lying there upside down he was determining what the best method of escape was.
