The best thing about owning a cat is that they are so thoughtful and helpful. For example, Oscar is never in the way, never starts randomly meowing at an absurd hour of morning on a Saturday because he wants to be fed, and always stays off the counter. Yeah, right. He pretty much does the opposite of all those things. In reality, the best thing about owning a cat is the entertainment value they provide. They do silly things at the oddest times and you can’t help but laugh.
Today Oscar demonstrated his thoughtfulness again. I had washed my truck in town today, to get all the mud and leftover salt off of it, although with the roads in their current state, it’ll get dirty again pretty fast. I parked outside the garage, and was taking groceries in and there is Oscar, sitting on the truck with his (not) clean paws. Happily, this time, he stayed mostly on the black molding around the box, and only went onto the roof once. But still, couldn’t he have waited until it was actually dirty again before making paw prints on it? The expression on his face when he saw himself in the tinted window proves my point though. How can you be mad at something that funny?
