One last shot of winter

The radio/weather people said this two weekends ago.  Then they said it again last weekend.  Now they are saying it again this week.  It would be lovely if they would just stop staying it.  We all know that sometimes winter lasts into March here.  Saying it is the last shot of winter just gives us all hope that winter is finally over and spring is here.

Last night, for instance, it was extra foggy, so we couldn’t see the ‘super moon’, and then it started snowing.  It continued snowing for the whole morning.  When it stopped, the trees were covered in a mixture of the icy frost of last night and the wet snow this morning.  However, they were mostly only covered on the east side due to the wind.  It looked pretty cool.  Happily, it was starting to melt, so I had to hurry, but not to worry, it is going to make up for all that snow that melted by snowing all week.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
