Spring cleaning

Hopefully it is spring now and the last storm of winter occurred yesterday.  Hopefully.  You can never tell with March.  There might be another blizzard sometime.  In the meantime, we will operate like it is spring and get used to mud instead of snow.  With spring comes nice things like kittens and tulips and crocuses.  And gophers, which are not nice.  I saw the first one today.  Of the nice things, I only have one litter of new kittens so far.  Hooray.  They are cute.

We are also starting to get ready for seeding, and once we can get the shop doors open again, we’ll have to get the tractor to town for some maintenance.  Currently though, we are emptying bins and cleaning seed.  Those Shop-Vacs are noisy creatures; you always come out of the bin with your ears feeling like they are full of cotton.  But it is much easier than shoveling out the bin.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
