The weather can seriously not decide what it wants to do. Last week, it was -40 for 3 days, then all of a sudden, on Friday, it was +6 and all the streets in town were slushy and the parking lots were full of small rivers from all the melting snow. Now it has snowed all day yesterday and today and it is going back to being cold. Not quite as cold, but still. It needs to pick the middle, and stay at about -8 and not be so windy. I have a friend in Africa right now, and it is +40 there. So that was 80 degrees difference between us. Crazy.
Anyways, yesterday it was 0 degrees all day. So when it was snowing, it was also melting. But, at some point, the temperature started slipping below zeros, so icicles started forming where the water was still dripping off of slightly warmer surfaces. Did I mention it was windy?
