Melting point.

As I type this it is excessively foggy outside.  Like, can’t see the road in front of you foggy.  The trees are all frosty already, as are the doorknobs on my house, which doesn’t usually happen in fog.  I suppose it is better than getting more snow, but it makes driving just as difficult. The weather people say that visibility is 1km, but they clearly have not been outside in the last 2-3 hours.   This for example, is 100-200m away and taken in the afternoon.

It is kind of nice that it has warmed up though, after a few solid weeks of -20 with windchills in the 30s.  So cold.  Today, however, it was -3 when I woke up, and stayed above -10 practically all day.  This caused the ice in my windows to start melting.  Practically tropical.  We should start seeing people running around in shorts again soon.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
