Candle in the Wind.

I’ve had a song stuck in my head all afternoon.  As the post title would suggest, it’s “Candle in the Wind”.  I’m not too sure why it is stuck there, and, to make matters worse, it’s only the first line of the chorus that is stuck there.  It gets pretty annoying after several hours.

The first time I can recall hearing that song is when I was 13 and I came home from the field one Saturday in September to watch the funeral of Princess Diana.  It is, therefore, associated with a sad memory and I wasn’t actually sad today, nor was I thinking about Princess Diana.  But I did pass a funeral procession leaving town today as I was on my way in, so perhaps my subconscious will always associate stranger’s funerals with that song.

About Kathy

I'm a twenty-something who loves animals, farming, photography and cooking/baking. Luckily enough, photography works really well with the other three subjects, so I carry my camera around practically everywhere. Other than that, my life is pretty uneventful.
