Some friends and I get together occasionally throughout the year on Friday nights to watch Say Yes to the Dress on TLC. It is generally an evening filled with headshaking at how spoiled some women are, and the exorbitant prices they pay for a (usually unattractive) dress that they wear for one day. Sometimes the dresses are pretty and flatter the person, but it seems that the majority are ones that expose a little too much. Although, the drama probably makes for better ratings, so they go with that.
Tonight my friend came over to watch the season premiere of the show, just the two of us this time, and we had planned beforehand that we would kind of have a supper of appetizers. For dessert, we had snickerdoodle ice cream sandwiches. One with vanilla ice cream and one with pumpkin. They both kinda tasted like Thanksgiving, which is pretty appropriate, considering it is Thanksgiving this weekend.
